I remember a league cup QF in the snow at Anfield, must have been early 80's?

Sir Alf 8:06 Thu Nov 2
Re: Carabao Cup draw Liverpool (A)
Oh well, Moyes will boast about successive quarter finals we reached.

We don’t win at Anfield even when we play well ( which too has been a rarity ) Yes that 0-3 victory , once in 50 years, but statistically it doesn’t even register.

Re: Carabao Cup draw Liverpool (A)
If we can get the wind back in our sails, we have enough in our team/squad to get something out of this - provided, that is, Moyes sets the side out to it's strengths and not what he thinks it's strengths should be.

Whoever gets the winner of Port Vale/Middlesbrough will effectively have a bye into the semis - the odds of both non-Premier teams being drawn against each other must be fairly high.

I was really looking forward to Port Vale away as I’ve never been there. Typical bloody luck having to play away at Liverpool!

I thought the Bubble at the back had a good game as did Kudus. The Bubble looks like he’s our best center half.

Absolute cunt of a draw, but as Fonz says we would have to beat them to win the thing anyway, but at least it could have been at home!

This happens far too often, Every fucking year, we never get shits like Manutd or the victims at home or lower league teams I am starting to feel paranoid about it.

Re: Carabao Cup draw Liverpool (A)
Moyes can carry on with his 20% possession. Will be another borefest.
Jeez can't he just go

The Fonz 1:37 Thu Nov 2
Re: Carabao Cup draw Liverpool (A )
And they play man utd before us and arsenal after us.

Could be a good time to play them.

The Fonz 1:34 Thu Nov 2
Re: Carabao Cup draw Liverpool (A )
Would rather play them now than over two legs or in the final.

Re: Carabao Cup draw Liverpool (A )
Actually thought was going our way for once when the first two games came out.

Gutted not at home.

We seem to have more luck with draws in Europe.

Nutsin 1:23 Thu Nov 2
Re: Carabao Cup draw Liverpool (A )
Figures we’d get the toughest draw of the lot.

Always happens.

Win this and it’ll be the Geordies or Chelsea.

Never catch a break do we.

The Fonz 1:21 Thu Nov 2
Re: Carabao Cup draw Liverpool (A )
So predictable.

Hopefully they will play a second string team and we can go full strength.

Pentonville 1:17 Thu Nov 2
Re: Carabao Cup draw Liverpool (A )
We NEVER get the draw luck.
